October 2021 Product Update

Greetings from Bangalore! This is Ivan, Product Manager at Logward, and I have been visiting our tech team in India these past few weeks to get some hands-on work with them. During this time,  we focused on creating a publicly editable feature for shippers to work with their stakeholders, related mostly to our Order Processing feature. We also developed the ability to set user permissions. Take a look for yourself below.

WORK WITH FORWARDERS ON SPOT QUOTES WITHIN LOGWARD

SEND INFORMATION REQUESTS

Lock your shipment details and pass along to your forwarders to submit spot quote requests. This is similar to how you can email bookings as mentioned in the September update.

Send spot quote requests to forwarders

RECEIVE RATE INFORMATION

The request will be emailed to your forwarders, each having its own link to edit the information. After each submits their spot quote request, you can pick which one you use.

SET USER LEVEL DATA PERMISSIONS

We recognize that not everybody needs access to the same level of data. We already had user level permission at the report level. Now, we have extended that to data permissions. Admins can create a schema, which sets the permissions for what data a specific user or a set of users can access within Logward.
